What types of IT assets do you handle?
SPW manages enterprise IT assets including laptops, desktops, servers, mobile devices, networking hardware, and data centre infrastructure. We handle both small-scale office refreshes and large multi-site decommissioning projects. Please note: SPW handles enterprise IT assets only — we do not process general household electronics.
How do I know my data is permanently destroyed?
Every data sanitisation process, whether software erasure, degaussing, or physical destruction, is performed in compliance with NIST 800-88 standards. Each individual asset receives a Certificate of Erasure or Destruction tied to its serial number. All documentation is audit-ready and meets the requirements of most enterprise security policies.
Are your services compliant with PDPA, PDPO, GDPR?
Yes. Our data erasure and destruction processes are fully compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act and Personal Data Privacy Ordinance requirements. We provide certified documentation to support your compliance obligations, including chain-of-custody records and destruction certificates suitable for PDPA audit requirements. For organisations with cross-border data exposure, we also support GDPR compliance documentation.

What happens to my assets after data destruction?
After certified erasure or destruction, SPW determines the best next step based on the device’s condition and your preferences. Assets may be refurbished and resold, returned through employee buyback programmes, donated to social impact initiatives, or responsibly dismantled and recycled through R2v3-certified facilities. Every pathway is fully traceable and documented.
Can some of my old assets still have value?
Yes but this is dependent on several factors (e.g. cosmetic damages, device age, etc.). We assess each device for residual market value before disposal. Devices suitable for reuse are refurbished and remarketed or returned through buyback programmes, helping offset the cost of your IT refresh.
How quickly can you collect and process our equipment?
We typically respond to collection requests within a few business days, depending on location and project scale. For urgent or large-scale projects please contact our team for a more accurate estimate timeline.
What documentation will I receive?
You will receive a complete documentation package: Certificates of Erasure or Destruction for every asset, an asset-level audit report, chain-of-custody records, and logistics documentation.
